My husband was on Facebook. When I heard a baby laughing, I asked what he was watching. He said, "Come watch this." We sat side by side on the couch watching this clip of babies laughing. What is it about their laughter that makes it so compelling, so contagious? It never fails. You just can't be sad or mad or worried when you see this and listen to these baby belly laughs. What a lift.
(Sorry I can't make the link open in the post, but here it is. . . I hope)

Don't you think the cuteness of babies is also contagious? I saved a video of my granddaughter where she is laughing with such abandon, and I listen to that sound when I need a pick-me-up. Maybe I can figure out how to put it on the blog and make a slice.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite sound in the world!
ReplyDeleteAs Elsie, I have a clip of my grandson laughing at 6 months old. I must have played that a dozen times (maybe more) on the first day, and now any time I need a grin. And it fascinates me...how do they know something is funny?
ReplyDeleteHilarious! I could not help myself from laughing, too. I love how silly we will be just to get a laugh from a baby. Thank you for capturing such a fantastic slice of life for all of us.
